My Stats

So here is keeping myself accountable.

I went to a doctor's appointment recently and they informed me that i weight: 158lbs.
ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
The husband says muscles weigh more than fat and i hear that.
But the number scares me a little.
This means when i become pregnant and gain maximum 40lbs, i will be close to 198lbs!
OMG!

But i am motivated right?
And I am giving myself a chance.

So here are my stats:

Age: 32 (almost anyway)
Height: 5'2
Weight: 158lbs
Thighs: 26inches
Hip: 42 inches
Waist: 35 inches
Breast: 35 inches
Arm: 13 inches

Pictures:

This makes me feel REAL vulnerable so i am motivated to change my lifestyle!
What motivated you to change your lifestyle?

I think I am motivated by the thought of not fitting into my current wardrobe. Silly I know, but I worked hard to get to the weight I am now, and I am determined not to have to buy anything bigger. But it's really a lifestyle change more than anything else.

Glad you are motivated! You can do it!

My motivation was that after I had my last baby, all I could fit into was maternity clothes and even they started to get tight and that's when I knew I had to do something!

(new follower from Friday hop as well)

P.S. I love your info about good old Billy and Tae Bo. I have always wondered about them and I think I will have to look into them a bit more now. It's great when you get an unpaid and honest review :)

I t was vanity for me.

First I got thin by dieting and working out THEN I got healthy by changing my lifestyle, my food choices and my habits.

Good for you for starting young!

Going on a cruise and feeling self conscious motivated me to change my lifestyle. I've been going strong for 10 weeks and plan to continue for a lifetime.

I find it refreshing the way you put yourself "out there". Muscle does weigh more than fat, if your clothes are getting looser, you are still on track! You are doing great! My motivation is staying healthy. I am at high risk for breast cancer, so i live this lifestyle, well, to LIVE! ;)

Ok sweetie..you got this in the bag i promise..
Your Husband is 100% right that muscle weighs more than fat. Also a reminder..the healthiest way to lose weight is 1lb a week...The slower it comes off the longer it stays off...I PROMISE this is true..hang tough and stick with it and your results eventually will be remarkable!!!!

I say this as someone who has gone through the EXACT same thing...
Best advice I have: It isn't a diet it has to be a life change!

Interesting that you posted this!! Today I went to a weight watchers meeting and her question to us was.. What was your last straw, what motivated you to start losing weight... I immediatly thought back and realized that I had lost sight of that.. I remembered that I don't like that way I look in pictures, and I had to go back to work and nothing fit... It motivated me and got me to think.. I need to get this thing going !!

Your husband is right, it is the inches that count, not the pounds. However, I think what you are doing is brave. By putting yourself out there, you are accountable, but you also have a great support system in other bloggers!

I am motivated by my health. There are heart problems in my family and my grandfathers both died at 60. I do not want that to happen to me!

A desire to run longer and faster is where it started for me. And then it snowballed into consistent strength training, cross training, running and clean eating.

You can do whatever you set your mind to!

A desire to feel good in my body and in my mind is what finally got me to eat well. Things had gotten pretty bad, so the change felt pretty dramatically awesome :)

You can do it... you will do it :)
