How many of you have gone without meat?
Not to become a vegetarian but to go out without meat for a month just to see how things will go for me physically. I wonder how my body will react without any beef or chicken. I have always been a meat eater, always a meat eater. I have never gone without any kind of meat for an extended amount of time. Therefore, i wonder how my body will react?
Since meats are so high in calories, perhaps not eating meat for an extended amount of time may be good for me physically. It can also make it harder for me to lose weight. Therefore, not eating meat will help in my weight loss, right?
Proteins of course come from meats like chicken, however there are many other ways to receive protein, through plant based foods. Therefore, i should be able to go without meat for a short amount of time without any difficulties. After all, it is good for my body.
How about my fellow bloggers...have you gone without meat and did you find it healthier?

I don't typically eat meat. When my family has steak, I usually will eat something else. As I get older, I'm losing my taste for it. I do believe in giving my kids meat. Not a lot of red meat, but every now and again.
Howdy :) Following you on GFC from Money Savvy Michelle! Hope you'll follow back :) www.savingbythesea.com and gracie680 on Twitter.
I don't eat red meat, and have not since 1994 when my Dr. told me the highest rate of hepatitis was in butchers. Ugh. Did not and do not miss it at all.

Yes I've been reducing my meat and don't eat pork anymore. At rare times I eat beef but mostly chicken and fish. I lost weight without much effort.

Thank you so much for linking up with Makes My Monday!
Hope you will often!
Hi, I am a new fan following you from the Alexa hop via GFC. A vegetarian and organic foods store just opened in my area and I have been trying different things. Last monday I declared "meatless Monday" and I was surprised at how easy it really was. I plan to add another meatless day until the entire week is meatless. I wonder about carbs because I have type II diabetes.

Awesome! I started eating a raw diet about 5-6 months ago and it slowly changed into not eating meat and later to veganism! So I haven't had any sort of any products for about 3 months. My daughter is 9 months and I am 20 lbs lighter than before I was pregnant~Of course I workout but my diet definitely is playing a role! Good for you. I am sure you are going to feel great! Good luck!
Hi! Thanks for linking up to Welcome Wednesday. I used to be a vegetarian (still consumed dairy), but had to add chicken/fish back into my diet because I was diagnosed with an auto-immune thyroid disorder. I had read many correlations between soy products messing with hormones, and even causing goiters to grow further. So I added the other forms of protein back into my diet so I wasn't consuming so much soy. I think I handled it fairly well when I was a vegetarian. I did it for about a year or so.
Hi, what a nice blog. I am a new follower from 'hopping weekend'.
